Best Buy to Release Blackberry Pearl Flip

Monday BGR reported the screen shot of Best Buy’s RSS screen showing the release date of October 26th for the Bold.  We brought you the price sheet later that day.  Today BGR is back at it with a shot of the Pearl Flip 8220.  I actually can’t believe that I didn’t think to check out what else they had.  I was a little rushed that day, that is why the price screen is blurry, however no excuses.  I cannot get you guys a price today, but I will for sure tomorrow when my Best Buy source can get me in.  But back to the news.

The screen shot is the same format as the Bold’s was the other day, so it gives a release date of October 26th 2008, the same day they are suppose to get the Bold.  However, we know now that the Bold’s release may be postponed again due to the Bold training cancellations.  The status on the particular Best Buy screen of the Pearl Flip shows that the particular location will not carry the phone, so I will find out what the deal is with that, and check if my store will be getting it.  So, as for now, it looks that this is one of the most recent release date clues, but we’ll see.  The Pearl Flip 8220 will probably drop before the Bold, but who knows, if T-Mobile can get the G1 out on time, then they can do the same for the 8220.
