Rogers Confirmed They Won’t Have the BlackBerry Storm for Christmas

So, yesterdays post about Rogers getting the BlackBerry Storm turned out to be a big mistake.  BGR confirmed today that it was in fact false, the customer service representative that told Doug that Rogers would be carrying it before Christmas was mis informed or something because it was not true.  Rogers spokes person Elizabeth Hamilton said this about the news in response to BGR:

Saw your post and you’re right, the customer service representative made a mistake. As you know, I won’t comment in advance on what our holiday lineup has in store, but I can confirm it does not include the BlackBerry Storm.

What we can take from this update is, that they will not be getting it for their holiday line up however they did not say that they would not be carrying it.  Hopefully for you Canadians, Rogers will be getting it soon.
