FCC Approves GSM Version Storm

So today we found out that on the same day as the U.S. release of the Bold, Walmart is giving it away for free. Now we hear that the FCC just approved the design of the GSM version of the BlackBerry Storm (9500). This is pretty exciting news because we all thought that that 9500 wouldn’t come to the U.S. for quite a while. There is an issue however. This is the same model as Vodafones Storm which will support the 2100mhz band of 3G which is none of the U.S. bands. Maybe there is something we don’t know? No one knows that this point. Hopefully, someone like T-Mobile gets this device as well as the Curve 8900 and ASAP we are in Bold envy.
