AT&T Bolds are Selling and AT&T Expands WiFi
By Thomas on Nov 07, 2008 with Comments
We got some good news from our Buddies at Berry Review about the AT&T BlackBerry Bolds. The news is that they are selling well! In fact they are selling out according to Ralph De la Vega at AT&T, in an interview with TechCrunch. Ralph says that the Bolds are selling out in most stores, which is terrific because I thought due to all the let down, it would flop. Apparently releasing a phone on election day is ok.
In other related news, according to MobileCrunch, AT&T just bought WiFi operator Wayport for $275 million. This will now expand AT&T’s WiFi to places like McDonals, Marriot, and Four Seasons and brings their total hotspots to 20,000. Now us AT&T Bold owners can get fatter at McDonals and browse the web faster.
