Sprint/Nextel BlackBerry Curve 8350i Finally Launched??

*Update: Okay, So I was talking with Troy over at BBNews and we were discussing the 8350i. He said that his rep told him that the demo devices they will release before the launch of the device have been delayed, so sorry to say, but the delay until January may be true. I’m still working on seeing if even two different Sprint employees have the same story but even that is unlikely.
Okay, I’ve been out for part of the day and I’ve been getting emails about the Sprint 8350i finally being available for launch!!!  We were hearing the 15th and apparently people have been getting told that they can order it tonight and that it will ship out on Monday.    We have also been told that you can pre-order it right now.  This still sounds like some run around game that Sprint has been playing with its customers.  I spoke with Sprint’s telesales and they do not have the 8350i for sale.  Furthermore the sales lady said that it will most likely be released at the end of December, but I’m almost positive that she was guessing.  I also spoke with a Sprint store and they said that it does not come out until the middle of January.

All I have to say is, tisk tisk Sprint.  You guys cannot afford to toy around with your customers.  You have been over promising for months now, and people are getting fed up.  How about this Dan Hesse, get a mass email out to your damn employees and tell them when this freakin phone will be released before the board of directors votes your ass out of office!
