Orange may drop the Bold

Reports are flying all over the news that UK Carrier, Orange is considering to remove the BlackBerry Bold from it’s lineup of available handsets due to persistant problems with the phone. Orange had already temporarily stopped shipping the handset in October. Now sources are indicating unusual high return rates as well as numerous end-user complaints related to dropped calls and poor reception despite several software updates.

This doesn’t come at a good time for RIM who launched the Storm in the UK to mixed reviews with other software glitches and extremely slow load times.
