T-Mobile Curve 8900 Contest, Info Page, and Pricing

My buddy Troy over at BlackBerry New found this little deal here.  As of yesterday, RIM and T-Mobile just officially announced the new Cruve 8900 and they are setting off the announcement with a sweet contest and information page.  The info page is pretty weak, only listing some features and no specs of the device, but the contest is pretty cool.  You can enter to win 6 BlackBerry Curve 8900’s for you and 5 friends.

A little tid bit that I noticed was an implied retail pricing for the device in the contest rules.

PRIZES: The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $4,800.00 USD. The prize consists of six (6) BlackBerry Curve 8900 T-Mobile smartphones (ARV $499.99 USD each) and an individual voice and data plan for three (3) months of free service from T-Mobile to be used in connection with the six (6) smartphones (ARV $300 for each T-Mobile service plan).

This $499.99 value is most likely the no contract price and is exactly what I predicted for the price of this device.  It will probably be at least another week before we get any pricing on the 8900 with contracts, but we know it is close.
