Verizon Alltel Merger Complete

Just an update to what we published last week, Verizon has completed the Alltel merger and have officially become the largest US carrier with 83.7 million total customers, overpassing AT&T Mobility.

What this means to you? Over 1 out of 4 cellphone users in America are now Verizon customers. How many of those are happy customers– we don’t know With rebranding to start and complete in the 2nd and 3rd quarters respectively, you’re going to start seeing a lot more Verizon stores now if you’re in an Alltel market.
