Verizon to Take VZ Nav Global

Verizon has some plans for the first quarter beginning with the wireless network extender femtocell they are luanching later this week. Next bit of news is they plan to go global with VZ Nav. This plan is to cater to international business people who are constantly in foreign countries. I must say, that this problem should have been solved long before 2009, however that argument is moot now. Once this is launched, Verizon business customers traveling to Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom will never have an excuse to be late for an important international business meeting again. That is if they are on a BlackBerry Storm. Yes, the new Storm will be the first device to support global VZ Nav. This global service will cost $20 per month, but I think would definitely be worth it if I were traveling a lot (I get lost easily).
The second phase of the globalization will include countries such as Austria and Belgium and I’m sure more. This will be in the second quarter.
