Our buddy Ronen over at Berry Review found this sweet knowledge base article on RIM’s site. Basically it breaks down the different types of device wipes you can perform. The article isn’t too new, it was posted at the beginning of December, however it is useful if you are planning to do a device wipe anytime soon. There are 3 different types of wipes that are listed:
- Security Wipe
- Security Wipe including 3rd party applications
- Factory default Wipe
It tells you everything that is or is not getting erased. Take a look, its informative.
