RIM’s Acquisition of Chalk Media Finally Completed

In early December we told you guys that RIM and Chalk Media had made an arrangement for RIM to acquire Chalk for $23.1 million CAD and a $2.2 million CAD loan.  This would allow RIM to have the rights to some sweet pushcasting technology.  Well, last week on Jan. 27th the deal finally closed.  RIM is now the proud owner of Chalk Media!  This is sure to bring about some cool new features for BlackBerries in the future.  Stay tuned.
