BlackBerry BIS 2.6 Features

Rumor has that BlackBerry BIS 2.6 will be released sometime between March and April and then it’s up to the carriers when to actually upgrade to that… so really it could be quite a few more months before we see this.
That being said, there really is nothing special about this release. Gmail will default to IMAP instead of POP (if you don’t know you can change that manually now), you’ll be able to edit your signature from the device, passwords for email accounts will actually show as you type them instead of being hidden by *******, and more “consumer friendly error messages”. — Yeah like I said, nothing all that special. Let’s see what they do for 2.7 rumored for later this year.
