Overview/Description:
Coveroo, what better way to accessorize your BlackBerry than with a laser engraved back cover.  Coveroo sells laser engraved back covers for cell phones.  They support most BlackBerries and will probably get the 8900 soon.  The Coveroo that I got is for a BlackBerry Bold and is the red option (which is actually a metallic burgundy).  I had it custom engraved with the BerryReporter.com logo.  The covers that are used are OEM BlackBerry covers.  The great thing about laser engraving is that it does not peel  or scratch like paint does and it gives it a cool tecture.

Pros:
The pros are that Coveroo’s are made using OEM BlackBerry covers so that the fitment is perfect. Also it is a brilliant idea because it allows for a cost effective solution for personalization of your phone (unlike Colorware, which is also bitchen). The other thing about laser engraving is that it is so precise and gets small detail.

Cons:
There are two things that I don’t like about my Coveroo. One, they do not offer many colors for the Bold. I would have gotten black but then the engraving would hardly be noticeable. The second thing is, is that you cannot give them an image with shadings or a fade. It should be fairly monochromatic or at least a special version of your design because the actual BerryReporter.com icon did not turn out well. Maybe I will make a smooth colored version and get another one. That last con is not a shot at Coveroo, it is just what I do not like about mine. The detailed images I have seen on their site are awesome.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, Coveroo’s are pretty cool.  I love branded products and the fact that with a Coveroo I can brand my own BlackBerry for $50 is really cool.  I would love to Colorware my whole Bold, but it is just way too expensive.  So, anyone that wants to personalize their BlackBerry, get a Coveroo.
