We spoke to Schlage at CES a little over a month ago and we were quite intrigued with their product.  I did not post about this because I wanted to see if I could do further testing with it, but I have gotten backed up.  Anyway, what Schalge LiNK does is links you to your house from anywhere, wirelessly.  It has the capabilities to control lights, heating and cooling controls, surveillance cameras, and control the locks on your doors.  Controlling lights is no new trick, so we will focus on how Schlage protects your home.  The Schlage LiNK gives you full access and control to your door locks wirelessly from your computer or BlackBerry.  It requires the Schlage lock with code access, but what you can do with it is amazing.  Imagine being able to lock and unlock your doors from anywhere you have cell service.  Imagine not having one code to lock and unlock the door.  Imagine knowing when someone is trying to enter codes in your door or sliding a key in the lock.  Being able to monitor all of this activity is simply amazing.  Schlage LiNK does all of this and it notifies you via BlackBerry.

You will no longer have to give your key out to relatives or friends to get into your house.  With Schlage LiNK you can simply give them a temporary code and boom after the code is used it is dead.  You will be able to get notification or just monitor every key entry, every code attempt and you even have the power to disable an active code.  This is a revolutionary way to keep your house protected.
