So, remember how we told you about T-Mobile’s Unlimited Loyalty Plan?  Well I just logged into my account to pay my bill and got a sweet treat.  I am eligible for T-Mobile’s $49.99 Unlimited Loyalty Plan!  Unlimited Loyalty, more like Unlimited Royalty haha.  Well this means only one thing; T-Mobile has launched their loyalty plan nationwide.  It probably went live yesterday, but I did not log in to my account until today.

The offer is for customers who have had an account for at least 22 consecutive months.  You have the chance to get unlimited calling on T-Mobile’s network for $49.99 per month.  I have multiple lines on my account so I have a family plan and I just checked to see if the Unlimited Loyalty Plan covers families too and it does.  For family plans, the Unlimited Loyalty Plan is $89.98 per month which is a great deal opposed to the normal unlimited family plan for $149.99.  They are also offering a $135 credit on your bill promotion if you get a non T-Mobile customer to add on to your account, such as wife, or girlfriend, etc.

This is a great attempt by T-Mobile to retain customers in times of peril.  The qualifications are not ridiculous and it is a sweet deal!  I’m probably going to sign up.

How many people are going to sign up for this?  How many of you are going to switch to T-Mobile because they said I am awesome?

From what they say is, if I do NOT pay my account for longer then 45 days, then they cancel my account for me and then will charge me the early termination fee. So I actually will be held to debt if I do not fill my account every month. Further more, the plan I have is the current unlimited plan they have with the BB plan on top of that, so I'm paying $120 a month before taxes. I'm basically a contract phrase away from being on a "regular plan".
  • The loyalty plan is set up for monthly contract customers. You are under contract, however they do not hold you to debt if you do not refill your account. Technically you are still month to month. You also have to had been with T-Mobile for 22 consecutive months before they will offer you the loyalty plan.

I'd sign up, but never got the offer. I called 611 and they said I can't have it because I'm a Flexpay customer, regardless of the fact that I AM locked in to a 2 year contract. I've said it before and I'll say it again, with every day that goes by I find more and more reasons to dislike T-Mobile.
