BlackBerry App World Pricing

The pricing has been posted live on the BlackBerry Developer website. I for one am happy they’re not offering $0.99 applications, that it can either be free and the next level up will be $2.99. Hopefully this will do away with a lot of pointless iPhone-like applications– well or maybe it’s worst because now they might just make them free.

There are a few other items that caught my eye.

• Consumers must have a PayPal account to purchase apps.
• Consumers will be able to re-download purchased applications unlimited amount of times to the BlackBerry the original application was purchased on. You can re-download apps to other BlackBerries 3 times a year.
• Consumers will not be able to store applications on SD cards.
