iHeartRadio for BlackBerry Streaming Radio App

Look out Nobex, iHeartRadio just brought it!  I have been wondering about this application for a while, but forgot about it and then it just sneaks up and surprises me.  For those that don’t know, iHeartRadio is an awesome free streaming radio application which I am sorry to say more advanced than Nobex.  Yes Nobex has more stations nationwide, but the GUI of iHeartRadio wins my heart and since they have KIIS FM, I will never miss On Air with Ryan Seacrest again if I am in class.  iHeartRadio is still in beta, but here are the features:

• 150 of America’s favorite stations
• Streaming in high-quality AAC format
• Critically acclaimed genre-defying channels
• Bookmark stations and tag songs
• Hit Randomize to find something new (randomly picks a station)
• Uses GPS to find local radio stations

Since it is in beta, there are some issues with it.  The first time I used iHeartRadio the GPS found my local stations, however since then it says it is not able to find them so it is not getting my GPS information.  Also the lyric feature doesn’t always work because they are still adding info to their database.  Eventually as more versions come out and more radio stations get added, this will probably dominate the streaming radio market.  Go check it out, it’s free.
