Today I will get some more posts up.  Steve was suppose to cover yesterday, but apparently that fell through.  So, here is your tip.

Level: Beginner

Tip of the Day #11 – How to program your convenience keys (including the camera button) – This is a super beginner tip, however saves you much annoyance.  You know how when ever your BlackBerry is in your pocket or you pulled it out of your pocket it says, “Say a command”?  Isn’t that mildly annoying?  Well for those of you that aren’t going to be using voice dialing for every call, you may want to turn that off and program that side convenience key to do something else.  While your at it, if you don’t like your right side convenience key as the camera, you can change that too.  Here is what you do:

Step 1. Go into your Options.

Step 2. Scroll down and go into Screen/Keyboard.

Step 3. Go down and you will see Right Side Convenience Key Opens and Left Side Convenience Key Opens.  Here you will be able to change those keys to open any application you want.  No more annoying Voice Dialing lady and now your keys will open what ever you want.
