Rumor No More: Blackberry Curve 8520 Coming August 5th

Rumors have been swirling around for awhile now on T-Mobiles Blackberry Curve 8520 (Gemini).  I think we can all agree now that those rumors are confirmed and we can now expect the device to release on August 5th, that’s next week!  CellPhoneSignal has posted an image that clearly states when the Curve 8520 will be released.  This is exciting news as many T-Mobile fans we jealous that they couldn’t get their hands the Tour.  Granted the 8520 won’t be in quite the same level as the Tour but it will be a solid step up for the T-Mobile Blackberry.

What can you expect from the Blackberry Curve 8520?  Well you will get another solid entry to the Curve franchise and new addition to the trackball family, the “optical” trackpad.  Also you get something that the Tour doesn’t have and that’s Wi-Fi.  I am still a little baffled as to why the Tour didn’t come with Wi-Fi capabilities but honestly that may be its only flaw.

You can grab the Curve 8520 (Gemini) at your local T-Mobile store and surprisingly Wal-Mart, which should do well with this release.
