RIM Gets Creative

Coming up with the next new mobile phone can be both fun and tedious at the same time.  Some of the most interesting work researchers do is try to come up with that next big design that will take the world by storm (no pun intended).  I have always wanted to get a behind the scenes look of how RIM thinks and we now a little sneak peak.  Thanks to Unwired View we get an in depth look of several different patented sketches for what future BlackBerry’s might look like.  Some of the sketches will look familiar while others we will probably never see again.

The bottom line is it’s only a matter of time before we see the BlackBerry touch screen/QWERTY keyboard hybrid.  The questions is what will it look like?
