We’ve seen the leaked pics and we have heard about the Wi-Fi capability and now we can see it all in action. That’s right this is the actual BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 in its full glory. Don’t let the AT&T logo fool you the Storm 2 will only be released for Verizon Wireless and Vodafone. You can already tell it is going to be light years ahead of the original Storm. The screen lag is gone and the speed seems up. I am really excited to see what the finished product will be. Get a glimpse of it while you can because it likely won’t stay up long.
Here is what we know so far about the BlackBerry Storm 2:
- Unlike the previous version the Storm 2 will have Wi-Fi
- Rumors have pointed to November for a US release date and October for Vodafone which will release the 9520 version
- Nicknamed the Odin
- No more buttons as all four BlackBerry menu buttons are built into the screen
- No more click touchscreen it will be a lot easier to press
- Comes loaded with BlackBerry messenger 5.0 and threaded SMS
