BlackBerry App World Website Now Live

BlackBerry App World can now be taken seriously.  That is because today they launched a live website catalog that will go hand in hand with their app.  I must say they outdid themselves with this one, the website comes packed with everything you need.

Readers have the ability to share product information, follow rss feeds and read detailed reviews all online.  On each individual product page you can view compatible devices, in depth product info and read all the reviews.  The homepage features a nicely integrated featured apps slider and sections for new, top free and top paid apps.

Obviously they were a little late in the game with releasing a live website but better late than never.  The Apple App Store is and always will be the direct competition for the BlackBerry App World.  In my opinion App World now has a leg up because you can easily view the website without having to download it.  This is just another step up for the entire BlackBerry community and the future is certainly bright.
