Ever wanted to disguise your voice on your phone? How about hiding you personal information from caller ID? SpoofApp lets you do both and more. The popular caller ID application has been one of the most downloaded mobile apps to date and now it’s available for the BlackBerry.
SpoofApp specializes in “spoofing” your caller ID information so that you can display any number you want when calling someone. It also let’s you manipulate your voice to sound like a man or a woman for the ultimate privacy. Another cool feature of SpoofApp is the ability to record your calls easily and they be downloaded, emailed and even shared on social networks.
Surprisingly SpoofApp has been rejected by the Apple appstore because they claim it “..allows users to anonymously make calls and/or wrongly identifies the caller ID of the phone (known as Caller ID spoofing).“ Thankfully BlackBerry App World sees the true value in this application and they have made it available for free in the download section.
SpoofApp works with SpoofCard.com and it is important to note there is a cost involved when using their service. You receive five free credits after you download the application so use them wisely.
