The much anticipated BlackBerry Tour OS update might be just around the corner.  According to BGR Verizon Wireless could be releasing the official OS 4.7.1.42 in the near future.  The update will fix the lag issues and most importantly the trackball-issues/">Tour trackball issues we all have been experiencing.  Some have also been dealing with slow down issues and for those of you that have the update should fix that problem as well.  In this stage it is still very much a rumor but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw the update released within the next two weeks.

    This will be great if it actually fixes the trackball issue. I don't see how it could - since this seems hardware related. Those brave (or foolish) enough to physically replace the trackball with one from a Curve have no trackball issues now.
