The Japanese game development company TAITO, has released two of its gems for the BlackBerry, Space Invaders and Bust-a-Move. TAITO is behind numerous classic games and has been making them since 1973.
To help successfully port the games over to BlackBerry devices they have created two control schemes for each game. BlackBerry Storm users will get to use the virtual controller while non-Storm users will have to navigate with the keypad and of course the trackball. The games have debuted for a reasonable price of $4.99 in BlackBerry App World.
BlackBerry gaming is still very much under the radar however the tide is changing and it’s nice to see that TAITO recognizes this. As we transition into the BlackBerry Storm 2 and other future devices you can expect the quality of games to get better and better.
