Facebook 1.7 for BlackBerry Coming Soon?

With the official OS 5.0 on the horizon it’s time for some of our most used apps to get an upgrade.  Many of us have tried out the new OS 5.0 leaks that were released last week but the problem is apps like Facebook are not yet compatible with it.

It now appears that Facebook will release version 1.7 in September and many are saying it will be OS 5.0 compatible.  The Facebook app is already pretty well polished and it looks like they are working more on the UI for future releases.  Details are still scarce but this could very well mean the official 5.0 update is only a couple weeks away.
