Time to rejoice Mac users, today is your day. That is because the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac has just been leaked. It is important to note this is version 1.0.0 and it’s still in the beta phase so you may get some bugs.
For years now Mac users have been left out in the cold when it comes to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. It really does make you wonder what took RIM so long to develop a compatible Mac version. In the long run it may have paid off because of the amount of time they have had to work and perfect it. The BlackBerry Desktop manager for Mac lets you sync your iTunes playlists, contacts, tasks, apps and more. One thing is for sure Mac owners who previously stayed away from BlackBerry because of this might just be changing their mind.

Too late. Your customers have already bought iPhones.
That looks sweet! electronic cigarettes
And how long will it be before Apple disables the iTunes sync, I wonder?
Never, you noob.
In contrast to Palm, Blackberry was not too lazy to write their own App to access the user’s iTunes music database. Anybody can do that, it is easy, DRM-free and not forbidden. What Palm tried was diguising the Pre as an iPod to use iTunes directly, which Apple understandably disabled.

To everyone saying RIM not releasing the software soon enough is why you switched to an iphone; bullshit. Dont kid yourselves, you would have gotten an iphone sooner or later. Believe it or not, developing software takes a lot more money for a company. Mac market share is already pretty damn low…now think about how many mac-using blackberry owners there are. It just never made any financial sense. Now that RIM has more money and resources, they can afford to develop Mac software.
Just because a couple of iphone users feigned outrage isnt why RIM developed this software now.
It doesn’t work , File is corrupted , Anybody can help me to download this , Thank you
Sajan stay tuned because the official version will be released any day now.
Nice I can’t wait!!! I just read about it with some review on mwd.
