Video: In Depth Look at the BlackBerry Onyx 9700

The more I see of the BlackBerry Onyx 9700 the more I get excited about it.  With the new built in trackpad, Bold like leather battery door and a keyboard similar to the Tour you can see why the Onyx is getting so much hype.  The best way to get a feel for an upcoming BlackBerry device is to watch side by side comparisons to recent BlackBerry releases.  This is exactly what this user did as he compares the Onyx with the Bold 9000 and the Curve 8900.  One thing you’ll notice right away is the amazing responsiveness of the trackpad.  I have to admit at first when the trackpad was announced I was a little skeptical but now it’s starting to grow on me.  It definitely looks like it will be a proper replacement for the trackball and will hopefully be more reliable.
