OS Update 4.7.1.42 Leaked for the BlackBerry Tour

Numerous tipsters have let us know OS update 4.7.1.42 has been leaked for the BlackBerry Tour.  This is an important update for a couple of different reasons.  For one this is the update that has been rumored to fix the Tour trackball issues.  It is also supposed to correct the screen freezes that many Tour owners have experienced.

For weeks now we have been trying to confirm whether or not this OS update will be able to fix the trackball problems.  Far too many users have complained about this issue and many of them are on their 3rd or 4th device.  OS update 4.7.1.42 is supposed to be the official version Verizon plans to release in the near future.  While it certainly seems like more of a hardware issue it would be nice if this update actually fixes the problems.  If you are brave enough to try the leak, let us know if you notice any changes with the trackball.
