Brightkite has unofficially made its way to the BlackBerry in the form of myKite. Brightkite is the popular location-aware social networking platform that connects millions of people based on their location. With Brightkite you can easily share photos, and post notes of certain places and then share them with friends or the entire community all in real time.
myKite is the unofficial open source Brightkite BlackBerry app that was developed by Chris Hallgren. It was previously called BrightBerry but has since gotten a makeover now that it’s available on BlackBerry App World. Even though myKite wasn’t officially developed by Brightkite it still has all the major features that you need to stay in touch with the network. The app is free and offers a better alternative to their mobile site. It also supports all BlackBerry devices which is a major plus.
