OS Update 4.7.1.53 Officially Released for the BlackBerry Tour

Verizon Wireless has officially released OS update 4.7.1.53 for the BlackBerry Tour 9630.  This comes just a day after this version was leaked on the Internet.  OS 4.7.1.53 is the first official Tour upgrade from Verizon.  The big question everybody had is whether this update will fix the trackball issues.  Well early reports are in and it seems that users still experience trackball problems even after the upgrade.  It was a little hard to believe this really was a software problem but still I held out hope that this would be the fix.  All is not lost as this update gives us some nice improvements and fixes.

To download OS update 4.7.1.53 simply connect your device to your computer and load up Desktop Manager.
