How to Turn Your BlackBerry Storm into a Whip

How fun would it be to carry around a whip wherever you go? Be honest there are times when you just want to crack the whip at someone. Of course you can’t really do this with a real whip but you can do it with your BlackBerry Storm.
Whippoh is a unique free application developed by our friend Fabian Heuwieser that simulates a whipping sound when used with your BlackBerry. The app uses the accelerometer feature inside the Storm to detect when you move it in a whip-like motion. All you have to do is hold the device with your index finger and perform a whip-movement and the rest is history. The cool thing about it is if you perform an incorrect movement you get the failed whip sound. You can also adjust the sensitivity levels or simply press the side buttons to play the whip sound
Whippoh is a lot of fun and if you practice enough you might just be the next Indiana Jones. Go ahead and give it a whirl, just don’t be surprised if the wife gives you that look.
