BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac Will be Released October 2nd

First it was leaked, then it was released and unreleased via Twitter and now it’s official. That’s right all the guessing games are over because we know for sure the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac release on October 2nd. Many Mac users have waited long enough for this day and RIM will make them wait just a little longer. Why it took them so long to release this software is still a mystery.
If you’re like the many Mac users who have been checking blackberry.com/mac daily then you know RIM was hoping for a September release. In fact if you head there now you will notice that date hasn’t changed. Since today was the last day of the month RIM knew they needed clear up things before October came around. So they released this press release that gives us all the juicy details and even an exact time!

The new desktop software is scheduled to be available for free download from www.blackberry.com/mac on Friday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
