Why You Should Never Buy a BlackBerry from Craigslist

Just in case you needed another reason to avoid Craigslist, we got one.  This time it’s a story that is BlackBerry related and it’s just another example of how dangerous Craigslist can be.

Apparently a 25 year old named Jacque was searching Craigslist for a new BlackBerry.  He found a great deal on a BlackBerry Storm and agreed to meet the seller.  At the meeting point the seller pulled a gun on Jacque and attempted to rob him.  Even though he didn’t give into the robber and got away without getting hurt it was a dangerous situation.

This and other obvious reasons are why you should never buy your BlackBerry on Craigslist.  In fact buying anything on Craigslist is always risky because you never know who’s on the other end, remember the Craigslist killer?  If you’re looking for a good deal on a used BlackBerry try Ebay and remember to always do your research.
