Facebook 1.7 for BlackBerry Released

We got an end of the week surprise tonight as the Facebook BlackBerry app has been updated to version (1.7) and is now available for download.  Officially it’s version 1.7.0.18 and it comes with some nice new features.

The last time we heard about Facebook 1.7 was back in early September and we were hearing rumors that it will release sometime in the end of the month.  Well it took a little longer than we expected but it’s finally here.  Some of the changes you will notice are more news features, increased speed for page loading and the addition of a view profile option.  It also comes with a new feed pre-fetching feature that will quickly update your Facebook feeds without delay.
