New Remote Print App Lets You Print Files from Your BlackBerry

These days it seems like you can use your BlackBerry for almost anything.  For many of us the BlackBerry phone has become a major part of our everyday lives and we can’t go a day without it.  Just think of how many important emails you have stored on your device, wouldn’t it be nice if you were able to print those emails no matter where you were?

This is now possible with the new Remote Print application.  With this handy new utility you can print emails, all your documents, contacts and even your memos from your BlackBerry.  Remote Print works with your Wi-Fi connection to allow you to hook up to a printer and print all your important documents on the fly.  On top of that this app will also let you send files from your BlackBerry to your PC.  When you look at it Remote Print is really a must have for business professionals as you can also use it through BES.  As for the non-business users you will love it too because of all the features it has included like the ability to print all your photos.

How it works:

Remote Print is made up of two parts: the BlackBerry application, and a simple lightweight PC application – the Print Server (Mac is currently not supported).
After installing the Print Server and setting up a connection to the BlackBerry, you will be able to print to any printer installed on the PC direct from the BlackBerry. You will also be able to send files directly to this PC from the BlackBerry.
The printer can be changed from the Print Server program on the PC.
Note that you can install the Print Server on as many PCs as needed, and save connections to all of them.
