WunderRadio Makes Its Way to the BlackBerry

WunderRadio has been released in BlackBerry App World and it comes packed with 50,000 radio stations to choose from.  They have teamed up with RadioTime to bring you one of the largest catalogs of streaming radio stations we have seen.  On WunderRadio you will find a variety of genres to choose from like sports, entertainment, news and you can even browse by your location.  There is also a useful Twitter feature that lets users easily interact with the on-air DJ’s of their favorite stations.

If you have heard of WunderRadio before that is because it has been one of the most popular radio apps for the iPhone and Windows Mobile devices.  It has taken them awhile to get it on BlackBerry phones but it may be worth the wait.  Even though it has been released on other platforms this new version is specially customized for BlackBerry devices.  You’ll be happy to know that you can keep WunderRadio running in the background while you perform other tasks on your phone.  It even handles incoming calls without any interruption.  This new BlackBerry version is currently only available for the BlackBerry Curve and Bold 9000 models.  You can expect it to be compatible with the Tour and Storm in the near future.  This is not a free app and it is listed at $9.99 in BlackBerry App World.
