Here is something that will make all the developers out there happy. RIM has released a device simulator for the all new BlackBerry Bold 9700. Technically you don’t have to be a developer to download this and if you just can’t get enough of the Bold 9700 go ahead and give it a try.
BlackBerry device simulators are mainly used by developers so they can test how the blackberry software, trackball or in this case trackpad, screen and keyboard work with a particular application. They really are fantastic tools for application developers and these types of simulators can also be enjoyed by everyday BlackBerry users. It’s a great way to learn more about your BlackBerry than just what’s on the outside.
This BlackBerry Bold 9700 simulator is labeled under version 5.0.0 and the OS may not be the actual OS it will be shipped with but it’s close.
