inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry Already Available for Pre-Order

It was only yesterday when I was telling all the podcast listeners about this seemingly rumorware watch.  Just one day later it’s now for real and available for pre-order.

On the show we talked about the OLED screen, incoming message alerts and Bluetooth connectivity.  Beyond that the inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry also has a rechargeable 4-day lithium-ion battery and is designed to withstand “mild splashes” according to its manufacturer.

The inPulse is available for pre-order now for $149 with an estimated ship date of Feb 2010.  I’m still skeptical about whether the world really needs a phone-accessory-watch that’s not actually a watch-phone.
