BlackBerry Bold 9700 Now Available on Bell’s Website

A little over 24 hours ago Rogers went live with the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and now its Bell’s turn.  You can purchase the new Bold 9700 from their website and even in some select stores.  Bell is selling the 9700 for $229.95 CAD with a three year plan which is $70 cheaper than what Rogers is offering.  If you’re looking to buy just the phone it’s $599.95 and that is pretty much the same price as a no contract Rogers Bold 9700 ($599.99).

If you’re a Canadian BlackBerry user you must be loving life right now.  It’s a little surprising to see these two carriers release the new Bold 9700 first but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.  This all but assures an end of the week release for AT&T but you know funnier things have happened.
