Will Verizon Allow Storm 1 Users to Upgrade Early to the Storm 2?

It looks like Verizon Wireless has another trick up its sleeves. By now you should know about the buy-one-get-one-free deal they are offering for the BlackBerry Storm 2. While it’s a great deal it looks like they will end it fairly soon. According to rumors over at BBOS that is when Verizon will begin to offer early upgrade discounts to Storm 1 users.
A reliable source has confirmed that these rumors are true and Verizon will allow Storm 1 users to extend their contracts over. They will be able to purchase the Storm 2 for $279.99 with a $100 mail in rebate. The big question is, does this go for all Storm 1 owners even if they just bought the device? There is no mention of a cut off date so this might be the case. Either way it seems like Verizon is doing everything they can to allow everyone to enjoy the new Storm 2.
****Update: It looks like the rumors are legit and this will happen on November 22nd. Thanks Mike!
