snaptu 300x225 Snaptu is the All in One BlackBerry AppWith so many different BlackBerry apps out there it’s easy to overlook one.  This seems to be the case with the free Snaptu app that has a variety of different features.  Snaptu is listed as a social networking application but in reality it’s much more than that.  Think of it as more of an application within an application almost like Google Widgets.

Sure you can access your Facebook and Twitter accounts but that’s just the beginning.  With Snaptu you can check out what’s new in the movie theater and view your local weather with the built-in AccuWeather feature.  There’s also a handy little news reader that lets you import all your Google Reader feeds.  If you’re looking for more apps to fill up your dashboard you can do that too by viewing the apps catalog.  Snaptu gives you everything you need in one handy application and the fact that’s free makes it a must have BlackBerry app.

    I actually did overlook this, there are so many options now and we haven’t seen anything yet! Compared to the iPhone BB’s have a long way to go and thousands of apps will keep being released. I wonder what’s next…

    Hi guys! I installed Snaptu in my blackberry 8700g its great but 1 thing that I can’t open some of them and anybody knows the shortcut keys for BlackBerry 8700. Please send the shortcut keys to nawid.haidari@gmail.com or call me @ 0093700801842 I will appreciate it. Thanks

    Hi!! I have installed it but it does not work… it gives a connection error whether on Wifi or Data Plan… i have a BB 8520… any suggestions???
