BlackBerry Bold 9700 Featured in Time’s 2009 Tech Buyer’s Guide

Time Magazine is well known for their list section where they feature everything from the Top 10 Game-Show Moments to the Top 10 Outrageous PETA Stunts.  One popular feature is the annual Tech Buyer’s Guide where they highlight the top 20 can’t miss techie gadgets of the year.  In this year’s addition you will find the new BlackBerry Bold 9700.  The list features some amazing new gadgets like the Darth Vader robotic arm and the new Nook.

It is somewhat surprising to see the Bold 9700 on that list but then again maybe not.  The 9700 has been one of the most talked about BlackBerry phones of all time.  Just take a look at some of the reviews out there, almost all of them talk highly of the new Bold and rightfully so.  There is no other battery like it, some are going two days or more with heavy use and without having to charge.  The Bold 9700 is rumored to be released from T-Mobile on November 16th and we still haven’t heard anything from AT&T.
