Seesmic Releases Free BlackBerry Twitter Application

Seesmic is regarded as one the top social applications and they’ve just gone mobile.  The new Seesmic for BlackBerry Twitter application is still in the early stages but it comes with some must have features.  Integrated timelines, URL shortening and background notifications are all included.  Seesmic for BlackBerry will also import all your searches and lists from you Twitter account.  This is something that has never been seen before in a BlackBerry Twitter app.

As stated before this application is still very much in the building stages so you can expect some bugs and minor issues.  There are currently two versions available, a beta version for OS 4.6+ BlackBerry phones which includes the Bold and most Curve models.  BlackBerry Tour and Storm 1/2 owners will have to use version 1.0b which is still in the alpha stage.
