RIM Launches MySpace 2.0 for BlackBerry

myspacebeta 300x224 RIM Launches MySpace 2.0 for BlackBerry There’s no question MySpace has lost some its popularity.  As Facebook and Twitter continue to grow MySpace needs to retool how they deliver their network.  Today they released a much needed upgrade to their BlackBerry application.  The previous version was not impressive and it featured some of the worst reviews on BlackBerry App World.

MySpace version 2.0 is still a beta application and it comes with some much needed changes.  If you don’t see version 2.0 yet in App World try downloading from your BlackBerry browser.

MySpace v2.0 features:
  • BlackBerry push notifications for new MySpace Messages, Friend Requests and Profile Comments
  • MySpace Blogs: you can Post a new Blog, Edit an existing Blog and View others Blogs
  • BlackBerry Message List integration: you can view new MySpace notifications or create new MySpace Messages from your BlackBerry Message List
  • Custom Moods: you can customize your MySpace Mood

    It's been hit or miss. I got it earlier in app world but now its showing the older version. RIM #FAIL
