Fandango Movies Application Now Available for BlackBerry

Not too long ago we received a tip from Fandango that they were working on a new application for BlackBerry.  Now it appears their application is ready for primetime as a beta version was recently released.  As expected this is a full native BlackBerry app that comes with many different features.

When you think of Fandango the first thing that comes to mind is buying movie tickets however they have evolved to much more than that.  They now offer movie trailers, reviews, fan ratings and much more.  All of these features have been built into their BlackBerry application for the ultimate movie experience.

You can browse all the latest movies and search local theaters for showtimes.  When you find a movie you like simply click on the poster to watch the full trailer and see what the fans are saying.  Perhaps the greatest feature on this new application is the ability to purchase tickets without every leaving the app.  Even though it’s still in beta the Fandango BlackBerry app has a lot of potential and it may even challenge Flixster in the future.  Remember this app is still in the beta stage so if you notice any bugs, be sure to notify the Fandango team.
