Signs of the BlackBerry Tour2 9650 Show up on Verizon

It looks as though we are getting closer and closer to the release of the BlackBerry Tour2 9650. CrackBerry was able to get their hands on a Verizon inventory screenshot which shows Tour2 dummy units. This doesn’t necessarily mean it will be released soon but it’s always a good sign. It’s also worth noting that BlackBerry guru Salomondrin claims it will be released on February 3rd. While this seems reasonable and he is usually a reliable source it’s hard to say whether it’s legit or not.
Releasing the BlackBerry Tour2 9650 soon would be a great way for RIM to kick off 2010. Considering how well the BlackBerry Bold 9700 did at the end of last year and that the Tour2 has many of the same features. With the built in Wi-Fi, a more dependable trackpad and a more stable OS Verizon will likely see many old Tour owners upgrading early.
