There was a pretty significant update for the Google Mobile BlackBerry app last week. This latest version now interacts with your email and contacts. The next time you perform a search in the Google Mobile app it will also check for potential matches in your messages and address book. This new feature also works with the built-in voice functions and it doesn’t stop there.
Once you find the result you are looking for you can easily send an SMS text, email or call from within the app. The Google Mobile app will also remember your results and make suggestions to you in future searches. Best of all if you’re not a fan of these new features you can easily switch them off in the options screen. The Google Mobile app for BlackBerry has always been a favorite of ours and now that it interacts more with your phone it’s clearly become one of the best free BlackBerry apps out there.
