Leaked Photo of the Official BlackBerry Twitter Client

We have known for quite sometime now that RIM is working on an official BlackBerry Twitter application.  For the most part it has been hard to find any real information related to the client so we have to rely on rumors and leaks.  Some have speculated as to what the new application might look like and now we get a chance to see for ourselves.

This leaked image of the official BlackBerry Twitter app was uploaded onto Tweetphoto by Twitter user @jmatuk.  It appears to be legit and if this is the case BlackBerry users are in for a treat.  The application somewhat resembles SocialScope in that it lets you access all your information like @replies, DM’s and lists from a tab on the top.  Twitter for BlackBerry is rumored to have all the essential Twitter features including address book integration.  According to BBRocks the application is set to be released in February but these are still just rumors.  In the meantime give us your thoughts on this leaked image, is it real or fake?
