How To Edit and Delete Speed Dial Bookmarks in Opera Mini 5

Opera Mini 5 is the preferred browser for many BlackBerry users, though one customization feature wasn’t made entirely obvious – the ability to edit the home page speed dial bookmarks. Upon installation, it appears as though you can only enter 3 custom speed dials, however you can remove the pre-installed entries in order to replace them with your own.

Great information. I just downloaded Opera Mini, and I have two questions: 1. Can the speed dial icons be changed? I get unrecognizable pieces of the website in the icons. And 2, going to bookmarks, dumb me, how do you enter a bookmark web address in the bookmark list? The only options I find are delete, new bookmark, or edit. Edit only seems to allow changing the name of the bookmark.
    Thanks

Hi James, as far as I can tell, the icons can’t be changed. I’ve been looking for a way, and it seems to just use a random part of the site. To add bookmarks, navigate to the website you want to save, then go into Bookmarks. The first option will be to add the site you’re currently on as a Bookmark.

      Hope that helps a little!
